Every new year invites reflection. As I look back, I see a year filled with growth, courage, and more creation than I once thought possible. What began as small, intentional steps turned into meaningful momentum, and that feeling—the sense that something is unfolding—has stayed with me.
However, as I look ahead, I’m not interested in pushing harder just because the calendar changed. Instead, I’m stepping into something more aligned. This season is about intentional rest, intentional connection, and intentional joy.
Rather than chasing intensity, I’m choosing sustainability—or more accurately, I’m practicing sustainability. I’m ready to say goodbye to the crash-and-burn cycle my body and brain have grown used to. Therefore, the year ahead is less about proving discipline and more about designing a life that supports my nervous system, honors my energy, and allows long-term wellbeing to grow.
This is my personal Joyful Reinvention, and it’s also shaping how I’ll support you in the year to come.
Why I Didn’t Choose 75 Hard (and What I Chose Instead)
As I sat down to plan my 2026 goals and then narrow my focus to what truly mattered for quarter one (rather than mapping an entire year at once, I approach planning through 90-day seasons, allowing clarity and flexibility to coexist), one question kept coming up: What kind of structure will actually support me right now? I wasn’t looking for motivation as much as clarity and focus, and I knew I needed something that could help me focus without tipping into overwhelm.
Initially, 75 Hard crossed my mind. The clear rules and defined timeline felt appealing, especially because my ADHD brain often benefits from structure and external accountability. However, the more I sat with it, the more I realized that kind of rigidity would ask too much of my nervous system in this season.
Instead of committing to someone else’s version of discipline, I chose to design my own personal challenge. This allowed me to create focus and momentum while still honoring my energy, capacity, and real life. In other words, it became a supportive middle ground between needing structure and avoiding the familiar crash-and-burn cycle my body and brain are used to.
This approach isn’t new for me. Planning my life in 90-day rhythms is how I stay grounded and consistent, and it’s the same philosophy behind the Joyful Reinvention 90-Day Transformation. Ultimately, choosing alignment over intensity is what allows growth to feel sustainable rather than exhausting.
Growing an Already Integrated Approach to Wellness
Supporting the whole person has always been at the heart of my work. Mind, body, emotions, and nervous system have never been separate in how I approach wellness, and that foundation isn’t changing. This year, I’m simply expanding what that support can look like in practical, accessible ways.
I’m excited to be adding Faster Way to Fat Loss groups and Tiny Habits challenges because these tools have been genuinely supportive in my own life. Rather than replacing anything I already offer, they allow me to share structured, research-backed support that layers beautifully onto the integrative work many of you are already doing.
The Faster Way to Fat Loss is a digital wellness program rooted in science-backed strategies like intermittent fasting, carb cycling, macro tracking, and strategic workouts. When paired with whole-food nutrition and coaching support, it offers clarity and structure without extremes, making sustainable fat loss feel more achievable and less stressful.
The Tiny Habits challenge, based on the work of Stanford behavior scientist Dr. BJ Fogg, focuses on behavior change that starts incredibly small. Through a free, five-day online experience, I will guide clients through practicing just three new habits so simple they take less than 30 seconds a day. Because the process removes reliance on motivation or willpower, these tiny behaviors are designed to grow, compound, and create lasting change over time.
Wellness is layered, this growing ecosystem allows you to choose support that fits your current season. Therefore, everything I offer remains flexible, supportive, and grounded in real life—never exhausting, and never all-or-nothing.
The I’ve Got You, Mama Podcast Is Coming
One of the things I’m most excited about this year is the launch of the I’ve Got You, Mama podcast. This space is being created to offer the kind of support I wish I had known to look for earlier in my own life—steady, compassionate guidance through seasons of responsibility, change, and growth.
Each episode will touch on topics many of us navigate quietly: wellness, emotional regulation, identity shifts, marriage, motherhood, midlife transitions, and the weight of holding so much for others. Rather than hustle-driven advice, the conversations will be grounded in lived experience, emotional intelligence, and sustainable ways of caring for yourself while caring for others.
This podcast is an extension of intentional connection. Therefore, it’s not about having all the answers, but about walking alongside you—reminding you that support exists, growth can be gentle, and you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
My Focus This Year: Rest, Connection, and Joy
At the heart of this year are three clear intentions:
Intentional rest, because growth requires recovery
Intentional connection, because we are not meant to do life alone
Intentional joy, because joy is a practice, not a reward
Instead of doing more, I’m choosing to do what matters. As a result, every offering, conversation, and piece of content will reflect this focus.
If you’re craving a year that feels supportive rather than overwhelming, I’d love for you to walk alongside me. Stay tuned for more on the workshops, challenges, and seasonal offerings unfolding throughout the year, each rooted in rest, connection, and joy.
If you’re seeking support now and would like help gaining clarity around your 2026 vision, I invite you to schedule a Joy Mini Session with me. It’s a gentle, focused space to reflect, reconnect, and identify what truly matters in the season ahead.
