As our kids get older and start building their own lives, it feels more and more like a gift every time we can all be in the same place. This holiday season has already given us one of those rare, treasured miracles — everyone together, noise and all… and this year, with two new granddaughters added to the family.

We chatted, passed around babies, stayed up too late.

Over the years, we’ve collected favorites that meet every personality in the room — the loud ones, the strategic ones, the competitive ones, and the cozy “let’s just hang out and have fun” ones.
So today I’m sharing our favorites — grouped not by category, but by family personality type (we all have them!). Enjoy finding which group your people fall into… and maybe discover a new game or two to bring to your next gathering.
